Baby Spencer Update!

I just realized I have so much to catch up on as far as this blog goes. First, I would like to give an update on Spencer. I went to the doctor last week and everything was good except for my iron of course. It seems to be good one month, bad one month, good one month and so on. This was my bad month. I am working hard on finding some foods that are rich in Iron. Suprisingly, Instant Grits are one of the best things I have found which is great because I LOVE THEM. A lot of my cereals too. Anyways, on to the important parts.
Spencer is doing great. He is very active, has a great heartrate and his growth measures out to the day of his due date. The doc said he thinks he is already 5 lbs which scares the mess out of me. Austin was only 6 lbs. 9 oz. at birth and we still have 8 weeks from that appt. to go. Hopefully this is not accurate. The best news of all was that Spencer has finally decided to take a head down position. What a relief, as I am not willing to risk a breech delivery and would really like to have him come out the way his siblings did.
I go to the doctor every 2 weeks now so I will be going next Monday. I will give an update then and hopefully will have a picture. I am still getting an ultrasound every appt. This past weeks he just had his face to my back so we were unable to get a good picture.

OUR TRIP HOME

Getting Low With Poppy At The Wedding

Giving Daddy A Turn

Austin's 1st Roller Coaster

Austin and Miller

Austin's Fish

Annabelle's 1st Fish Ever!!

We were able to take a trip back to the states on December 30th for 2 weeks. We had a great time but it was really rushed. We flew in and were at home for one day and then drove up to NC to be a part of my cousins wedding. I must say this was the most intimate wedding I have ever been to. They made it so detailed and personal. I was honored to be a part of there wedding and I just know that they will be together forever!!! I just wish we had thought about the time difference a little bit better. We were all just so exhausted! I just hate how you never really get to spend enough time with the couple as you would like but I am sure I can talk them into a visit over here. WE WOULD HAVE A BLAST!! If you read this SNOW, thank you and Chris for a wonderful time. You Rock! We were able to see so much family that we haven't seen in a very long time. It was so very nice to get everyone together and we were sad about the few who were unable to make it.
After the wedding we drove back home and flew through our 7 days. Far from enough. Don't get me wrong, it was well worth it, I just wish we would have had about a month. Hopefully we will figure out a way to get back for a month sometime before school starts. We were able to see and spend time with our family and John got to enjoy a nice camping trip with Dad, Bubba and some of Dad's friends and there sons. He had a great time. Mom and I spent a day at the outlets and John took the kids fishing. I will put a picture of each of them catching a fish. The kids got to spend a lot of time with there cousins and we had both sides of the family over for John's birthday dinner. PeeWee made ribs. Aunt G and Travis were there for every moment possible and Jenna and Bubba even came home after they had gone back. The problem was that we didn't get to see any of our friends. That was VERY sad for us. I am sure many are not happy with us at all and we are very very sorry!!
This explains why we haven't been blogging. But, we are back in business now.

BASKETBALL!!!

GUARDING THE BASKET

LOOKING FOR APPROVAL

THIS IS THE BASKET AUSTIN MADE. HE RAN IT ALL THE WAY DOWN THE COURT AND SCORED FROM PRETTY FAR BACK.

Austin had his first basketball game on Friday night! It was awesome! He was a little timid for the first few minutes but then he REALLY got into it. He even made a basket. We are so proud of him. Oh my, they even have there own cheerleaders and they were good. We have enrolled Annabelle in ballet or else we would let her cheer. She wanted to get over there and cheer with the girls.
